The German Design Award 2011The Copenhagen Chair has been nominated in keen competition with a number of international design products.
The German Design Award is the highest official design prize in Germany. It is awarded by the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, and is organised by the German Design Council (Rat Für Formgebung). Candidates must be nominated by a ministry or a senator. Products must also have won a national or international prize in order to be eligible.
‘Fora Form is very happy to have been nominated and sees the nomination as confirmation that its design and strategy are on the right track.’
In 2010, the prestigious Audi A5 Coupe won the main product design award. The Copenhagen Chair won the Norwegian Design Council’s Award for Design Excellence in 2009.
The winner will be chosen in February 2011.

Fora Form wins two new Awards for Design Excellence
Fora Form can now boast two new design awards from the Norwegian Design Council. They are awards number 34 and 35 the company has won for its design, making it the most award-winning design company in Norway.

ISO certificate
We are pleased to announce that Fora Form has an ISO certificate both under quaility control (ISO 9001) and milieu control (ISO 14001).
NEMKO is responsible for the certification, which was concluded 2nd and 3rd of September.
